When opioids are used properly they offer great relief to patients who need them. However, the abuse of opioids is a major concern in the USA. In the workplace, it is important to know how to respond safely in case of an overdose occurring on site. This course will provide more details about types of opioids, recognizing symptoms of use or abuse, as well as how to deal with an overdose.
